We’re excited to have you join the KAR Parent Center! Creating an account allows you to access your dancer’s photos and videos, register for photogenic and title competitions, and stay connected with their performances. Follow these simple steps to get started.
Step 1: Go to the Parent Account Sign-Up Page

Step 2: Fill Out Your Personal Information
Once on the sign-up page, you’ll need to enter the following details:
✅ First Name & Last Name – Make sure this matches the name you use for event registrations.
✅ Cell Phone Number – This should be a number where you can receive event updates.
✅ Email Address – This will be your login email, so use one you check regularly.
✅ Create a Password – Choose a strong password and confirm it.
Step 3: Add Your Dancer’s Information
In this section, you’ll provide details about your dancer to link them to your account.
✅ Dancer’s Affiliation
• Select Studio if your dancer is associated with a dance studio.
• Select Independent if your dancer competes without a studio.
✅ What Competition Did You Attend?
• If your dancer has never attended a KAR competition before, you will need your studio’s QR Code to bypass this section.
• Ask your studio for their Studio QR Code, which they can find in their Studio Center dashboard by clicking the flyer on the right side of the page.
✅ Studio Name
• If your dancer is part of a studio, select the correct studio name from the dropdown list.
✅ Dancer’s Name
• Instead of typing their name manually, select your dancer’s last name with their first initial from the dropdown list.
• Example format: “Smith, J” (for John Smith).
✅ Dancer’s Birth Date
• Use the MM/DD/YYYY format to enter their birth date correctly.
Step 4: Log Into Your New Parent Account
Once you’ve successfully created your account, log in here:

After logging in, you’ll have access to exclusive features, including:
🎥 Viewing & Downloading Photos/Videos – See all media from competitions your dancer participated in.
🏆 Registering for Photogenic & Title Competitions – Easily sign up for these additional competitions.
📋 Managing Dancer Details – Keep your dancer’s information up to date for future events.

🔸 Having trouble with the sign-up process?
• The most common issue is a birthday entry error. Double-check that it’s entered in MM/DD/YYYY format.
